“What should I look for when hiring a newborn photographer?”
It's important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography and has experience working with infants. In my business, I have years of experience working with newborns and their families. I'm dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for you and your baby (all while having loads of fun and getting to hear more about you!). I understand the importance of capturing these early moments, and I take pride in creating beautiful, timeless memories that you'll cherish for years to come.
“What can I expect during a newborn photography session?”
During a newborn photography session, I'll work to create a comfortable and safe environment for your baby, and guide you through the posing process so no, you don't have to worry about what to do with your hands haha. Family members are included in the photos (pets too if at your home!). If you have any specific poses or props in mind, I'm always happy to incorporate your ideas and preferences into the session.
If you need to feed or change baby, nooo worries! I always allow enough time for those breaks to be taken during our session so you never feel rushed.
To capture the best moments, it's important to schedule your newborn photography session as early as 7-10 days all the way up until 3 months old. Because it's a lifestyle newborn, they don't need to be FRESH FRESH. So take your time healing and recovering and I'll be ready to photograph when you're ready. I do recommend booking your session as soon as possible during your pregnancy to ensure availability.
“Do I need to bring anything?”
You don't need to bring much to the session, just outfits and anything sentimental or personal to you that you want captured in the shots (such as a onesie, swaddle, hand and foot prints, name sign, etc).
“When will I get my photos?”
After the session, you can expect to receive the final edited photos within 3-4 weeks. I offer a range of packages that include both digital files and (soon to be) prints. I'm happy to work with you to create a customized package that meets your specific needs.
“How much does newborn photography cost?”
Newborn photography sessions can range from $500 to $1,000, depending on the package. I know this might seem like a significant investment, but keep in mind that newborn photography is a specialized service that requires a lot of time, effort, and equipment. I'm dedicated to providing high-quality images & products that you'll cherish for a lifetime!
